Inclusive Teaching at UO

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology

Society for the Teaching of Psychology

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (Division 2 of the American Psychological Association) “promotes excellence in the teaching and learning of psychology,” and “endeavors to promote equity and social justice for teachers and students of psychology with marginalized, racially minoritized, and intersecting identities.” The Society for the Teaching of Psychology website includes teaching resources by content topic, information about conferences and grants, and guidance for decolonizing introductory psychology courses.


BIPOC Psych Papers Spreadsheet

Dr. Erica Hsiung Wojcik created this crowd-sourced BIPOC Psych Papers database to help instructors of psychology diversify their course syllabi by incorporating psychological research authored or co-authored by Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC).

Breaking the Prejudice HabitThe purpose of Breaking the Prejudice Habit is to facilitate education on topics related to stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination. Teaching tools include example learning activities, assignments and videos.
